There are approximately 1,000 slides of the most frequently used and useful words in 4 presentations, including most of the words from C. K. Ogden's famous 'Basic English'. Includes: The Alphabet, Pronunciation, The 100 most common words, Animals, Colors, Days & Months, Numbers, The Body, Persons, Time, Food, School, Weather, Clothing, The Home, etc. Ogden was a linguist who devised a vocabulary of 850 words covering everything necessary for everyday purposes. This flashcard method will help you to remember words faster. The first time a slide appears, a picture of the word is shown. Clicking on the slide again causes the Russian word to appear. Clicking on the speaker icon causes the word to be pronounced. You can also view the slides on a projector in a classroom. The flashcard presentations allow you to print out the slides as flashcards. Reviewing a small group of words several times works best. A second or two per word is sufficient. Spend just a few minutes daily for best results.
